Happy Birthday America !!!!!! It's something about singing our national anthem that sends chill's down my spin ... I get that same feeling when I am planning events for my family and friends . this blog is dedicated to all things red , white and blue !

Cocktails :

Cocktails are the best way to great your guest as they arrive to your cookout ...and if you are having mixed company ( kids and adults ) you will want to have a signature cocktail /mocktail for everyone .

For the Kids :

Layered Punch

Cranberry Juice

Blue Gatorade Frost

7 Up

Ice Cubes

Recipe :

fill the pitcher with the ice , then pour in the cranberry juice , next pour in the Gatorade ( be sure that you pour the Gatorade directly onto the ice ( this prevents mixing ) ) Pour in the 7 up ( also pour on ice to avoid mixing ) .... and enjoy !

For The Adults :

1 cup of blueberries

1 1/2 cup of Pineapples

1 cup of Raspberries

1 1/2 cup of Strawberries

1/2 cup of lemon juice

1/2 cup of simple syrup

1/2 cup of berry flavored vodka

1 cup of triple sec

2 bottles of white wine

Recipes :

combine all ingredients into a large punch bowl then refrigerate for 4 hours !

"whose broad stripes and bright stars " ...... The American Flag is iconic and should be used through out your event .. it doesn't have to be those miniature flags that you can find anywhere I urge you to be different .... paint mason jars or even paint wooden cut outs of stars and create your own unique centerpieces or décor .

Red , White and Blue ... taste so good !

These Oreo Pops and the Red , White and Blue Cake pops are so delicious .... if your feeling brave try to make them your self but if you are anything like me ...I will pay someone to make them for me .
